In this 60-day project youth will get busy in the kitchen learning basic cooking skills and preparing a wide variety of foods. Members can choose from options focused on basic kitchen skills, preparing healthy balanced meals, preparing foods from various regions and cultures, incorporating local ingredients, accommodating dietary restrictions, or preparing a special meal for a big celebration. The foods project is very flexible and can incorporate all types of cooking including baking, preserving, BBQing, cake decorating, and anything else of interest to the members and their club.
