Friendship
As members collaborate on projects and engage in activities, they forge bonds that inspire trust and teamwork. These friendships create a supportive environment where everyone encourages one another to grow and succeed. Through shared experiences and challenges, members not only learn valuable skills but also build lifelong relationships that make the 4-H journey truly rewarding. Together, we celebrate our achievements and create memories that last a lifetime!
-
Fun Projects
Projects are the heart of our program, offering members a chance to dive into hands-on learning and explore their interests. From agriculture and environmental science to arts and crafts, each project empowers youth to develop essential skills, take on leadership roles, and gain practical experience. Working individually or in teams, members set goals, problem-solve, and showcase their hard work at events. These projects not only foster creativity and innovation but also build confidence, making the 4-H experience both educational and fun!
-
Teamwork
Teamwork is a vital part of the learning experience. Through collaborative projects and activities, members learn to communicate effectively, share ideas, and leverage each other's strengths. Working together fosters a sense of community and helps build important life skills like leadership, problem-solving, and resilience. Teamwork encourages members to support one another, celebrate successes, and navigate challenges as a united group. In 4-H, we believe that together, we can achieve more and make a lasting impact!

Age Groups
It’s easy to become a part of 4-H by joining one of the existing clubs across the province or by starting your own club; you can be a member or a leader of 4-H wherever you live. Members are between the ages of 6 and 21 and leaders are 22 years or older.
4-H members belong to a club, enroll in projects and learn from the guidance of volunteer leaders. Members share knowledge, socialize and build friendships. There are four age groups to choose from:
Cloverbuds
6 to 8 year olds
For youth who have reached their 6th birthday by midnight December 31 of the previous year, and who have not reached their 9th birthday by midnight December 31 of the previous year.
Cloverbud project is a 180-day discovery project for 4-H members ages 6 to 8.
The Cloverbud project is a discovery project, which emphasizes group creativity and participation, not competition. Cloverbuds are not eligible for livestock, small animal or other 4-H projects. The Cloverbud project consists of three units that explore a total of seven different topics through fun-filled activities such as crafts, field trips and hands-on-workshops. 8-year-old Cloverbuds are eligible to explore skills relative to one specific 4-H project of their choice, which may be livestock or non-livestock. Members will not carry out their own 4-H project but will focus on skill development and project learning specific to their project area of choice.
Junior Members
9 to 12 year olds
For youth who have reached their 9th birthday by midnight December 31st of the previous year
Junior members may choose from over 30 4-H projects, ranging from livestock to small animal to non-animal projects such as gardening, photography, outdoor living, Self-Determined, etc.
