Start a Club

Why Start a Club?

Because it’s fun!

All you need is 6 members, a minimum of one screened and trained leader plus one screened volunteer!  This creates the perfect mix for everyone to ‘Learn to Do by Doing”. With support from the 4-H British Columbia community it’s as easy as 1-2-3

Make a Difference... Become a Leader

4-H British Columbia works because there are more than 600 volunteers to make it happen. Volunteers gain valuable experience and contribute to their community. Our volunteers benefit from training, conferences and opportunities to travel and network with other leaders. Enriching lives of youth in their community has no price - but it’s value is endless.

Opportunities for 4-H Members

There are many great benefits of becoming a 4-H member.  You can receive school credits, travel, learn leadership skills, hone your public speaking abilities and receive scholarship and bursary opportunities that are not available outside of the 4-H community.  You will also develop friendships that last a lifetime!

Opportunities for Leaders

You can travel by chaperoning 4-H programs, attend Leaders Conference every second year and know that you have supported tomorrow's leaders in their specific areas of interests, while helping them develop into empowered community leaders.
